Phase diagram for strongly interacting matter in the presence of a magnetic field using the Polyakov–Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model with magnetic field dependent coupling strengths

We study the phase diagram for strongly interacting matter using ’t Hooft determinant extended Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model with a Polyakov loop in light and strange quark sectors (up, down strange) focusing on effect of magnetic field dependence coupling strengths these interactions. This was obtained so as to reproduce recent lattice QCD results quarks dynamical masses. A finite is known induce several additional first-order transition lines respective Critical End Points (CEP) temperature-quark chemical potential when compared zero case. range eB = 0–0.6 $$\mathrm {GeV}^2$$ location CEPs reveals that initial one well new ones only survive up critical field. Only two remain upper limit studied strength. comparison versions without also done. found inclusion strengths, while not changing qualitative features diagram, affects CEPs. The regularization cutoff medium part integrals does show significant change.
